Electrical equipment rarely fails without warning. A loose connection, an overloaded circuit or an ageing breaker runs hotter than it should long before it trips or burns, and that heat cannot be seen with the naked eye. An electrical infrared inspection makes it visible.
At Singh Isotech Pvt. Ltd., our certified thermographers scan your live, energised panels, switchgear, transformers and cable joints with a thermal camera, so you find hot spots before they turn into a fire, a breakdown or a penalty. Your operations keep running: no shutdown is needed.
We work with facilities in Gurugram, Delhi NCR, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Raipur, Jammu – and across PAN India.
Electrical infrared inspection is a thermal imaging survey of your live electrical systems. A certified thermographer points a high-resolution infrared camera at the equipment while it carries its normal load. Heat signatures that are invisible to the human eye show up on screen: loose connections, overloaded circuits, unbalanced phases and failing components all run hotter than healthy ones. Thermography and infrared inspection are the same technique. This is what you get:
Where repairs are needed, our team can also manage the rectification works through our post-audit rectification programme, so the team that found the problem helps you close it out.
A thorough electrical infrared survey covers the whole electrical chain, from the main incomer to the motors it feeds.
For plants with heavy machinery, we can extend the scan to motors and bearings in the same visit.
These five causes account for most of the faults found during infrared inspections:

How often you should scan depends on how critical the facility is:
India’s CEA Regulations require electrical installations to be maintained in a safe working condition, and documented thermography is strong evidence that you are doing so. NFPA 70B, the international electrical maintenance standard, also calls for periodic infrared inspection.
Your report is delivered within 24 hours of the inspection. Every anomaly is documented with a thermal image and a matching visible-light photograph, a temperature differential reading, a severity classification (Priority 1, 2 or 3) and a specific repair recommendation. The report tells you what to fix, where, and how urgently.
Any facility with a meaningful electrical load benefits. The sharpest return is usually in manufacturing plants, warehouses and logistics parks, hospitals and healthcare facilities, retail malls and commercial complexes, data centres and IT facilities, and pharmaceutical and food processing plants.
Inspections are carried out by certified Level II thermographers using FLIR and FLUKE-grade thermal cameras. Singh Isotech brings 30 years of experience, 1,500+ audits and a team that includes IIT and BITS-Pilani engineers.
Infrared inspection works best alongside the rest of your electrical safety programme: pair it with an Electrical Safety Audit, a Power Quality Study or an Arc Flash Study.
It is a thermal imaging scan of live electrical systems that detects heat anomalies before they cause failure.
No. The inspection is fully live-line, so there is zero operational disruption.
Annually at minimum, and every 6 months for critical facilities such as hospitals, data centres, pharma plants and cold chain facilities.
Thermal images, temperature readings, severity classification and repair recommendations for every fault found.
Yes. Overloaded circuits run hotter than normal and appear clearly on thermal images.
Yes. Thermography and infrared inspection refer to the same technique.
CEA Regulations apply in India, along with ISO 45001:2018, and NFPA 70B internationally.
Within 24 hours of the inspection.
